I have played every single DiRT game and i can confirm most of the cars in the game sound like that, only with ALOT of turbo spooling and blow-off sounds!
That off-the-line start sound though.
He forgot the popping on the overrun/shifts
And a car comes in just in time to confirm how spot on he was.
