so yeah i made this. It's been like a year in development and with the script rebuilt idk how many times im amazed it even makes a tiny ass bit of sense but fuck it.
Is this satirical?
its not completely bad for someone who is just starting off, but there are quite a few things you could work on. heres a big list, i suppose. 1. gain some knowledge on the rule of thirds. you had some great ideas for shots, but they looked somewhat awkward. 2. the lighting could use a lot of work. for the first 8 minutes (up till the outside scene) everything was waaay too dark, i really couldn't understand what was going on in the scenes because of this. 3. a lot of scenes had issues where the framerate dipped below 29/24 (whatever your project framerate was) which resulted in a very stuttery look. one thing you could do to fix this is run through your scenes, but instead of recording in real time using your game recorder (dxtory/fraps/whatever you use), record it with a demo and record the audio in real time. then, when you're done, open the demo and set it to play back at 50% (or 25%, depending on how much you have going on at once). record the slowed down demo with your game recorder, then speed it up in your editor. 4. a lot of the scenes were very hectic and were hard to follow, especially with the camera work. 5. the voice acting was ok. it felt somewhat forced at times 6. some sound effects (like that weird crying/hurt sound effect in the middleish) were low quality. 7. sometimes the dialogue got overpowered by the game audio.
