Round and round he went….and then he went round and round again.
And again.
Clinton Shepherd walks past the Ferris wheel at Chicago's hot-spot tourist attraction, the Navy Pier, on a daily basis, because he works there as the park operations manager. It was about a year ago that he decided to ride it.
Three hundred and eighty-four times.
In so doing over the course of 48 hours, 8 minutes and 25 seconds this past weekend, Shepherd smashed the existing Guinness world record for continuous spins in a Ferris wheel gondola (the official record is for "longest marathon on a fairground or theme park attraction").

And for 2 days, people actually had to worry about raining fecal matter for once.
whats the big deal, with all the gear he basically is doing the same thing all of fp does, only in a moving room
How did he relieve himself D:

I dunno man, it looks like it goes pretty high up..
I'd live in a ferris wheel cabin for a week if they'd allow me to somewhere. I need enough space for about 50 bags of doritos, 10 gallons of Mtn Dew, and a big bucket to defecate in.
He made himself right at home lol

Don't forget your Xbox!

just imagine raging and throwing everything out the side in a fit because of some xbox idiots
Meh, Florida Man rode one for 2 years straight.
I want a house that spins on a giant ferris wheel with dozens of other houses.

Why a bucket? Just throw your feces at spectators below.
I actually now want to do this. Perhaps I could convince the local fair to allow me to? I'd just need to find a way of powering my laptop for 2 days.. MRE's and water could get me through 3-4 days easy.
He also played Sonic 06 judging by the game box he has there under that controller.
Wouldn't his Xbox scratch the disc's with the tilting of the cabin?
Under the rules of the Guinness folks, the 32-year-old Shepherd, a Navy Pier employee since 2005, was allowed a five minute break each hour.
Pshhh easy
How did he power that stuff? I wouldn't trust an extension cord, it may get tangled.
Chicago man; The face of the future.
^ There's a car battery in the far right of the picture, so that and a power inverter.

along with the pier itself.
wow that's alot of boats
Actually looks kinda cozy. I'm sure it'd get pretty windy up there, though.

bonus points, Chicago is actually known as "the Windy City" and there's been some hefty windstorms this past week or so leading up to these tornadoes

I smoked pot on that very Ferris wheel when I was 16 haha, I was a dumb kid, but it;s a pretty cool story
