Unless he expected them to have a lengthy dialogue about pop culture that gets more and more tense until the studio erupts in an explosion of violence. THEN he would've been correct.

If you think these guys were acting like assholes, you should be glad it wasn't Simon Cowell.
Also, the guy is just terrible. It's 2 goddamn chords. If you think playing a 2-chord part with 2 notes on 1 string is acceptable, you pretty much NEED to be blunt in order to give a wake-up call.
Totally not a paid actor.
