I decided to bust out my (very) old wacom tablet, just to give it a go. But as I've been drawing I've noticed something pretty annoying. The movement of the cursor is dynamic, for example if I move the pen 1 inch over the tablet slowly, the cursor will maybe go 1.5 inches on screen, but if I flick the pen 1 inch on the tablet, quite fast, the cursor may go about 5-6 inches on screen. This makes it very hard to judge pen movements, maybe it's just because I'm only a beginner, but it feels like it's restricting me. I've messed around in the wacom control panel with the sensitivity settings, I've even tried turning "mouse acceleration" off, but it still seems to do this.
Is there any way to turn this off, or am I gonna have to get used to it? Also If you're wondering, the pad is an Intuos GD.
where you move the pen dont stop just keep it going that slow it down gradilty (i cant spell)
hmm... sounds like mouse acceleration.. but weird.
not sure what the problem is... but I don't use my tablet in mouse mode.
Put it in tablet mode, sounds like it's in mouse mode.
If the above doesn't work, hit up drivers (http://www.wacom.com/downloads/drivers.php). Then make sure the tablet area is set to Full, Screen Area is set to Full on single monitor, and if need be, Force Proportions turned on.
