• Intel panel calls for wiretap evidence by Monday
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) and ranking member Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) have asked the White House to offer by Monday any evidence showing Trump Tower was wiretapped. A congressional aide confirmed to The Hill that Schiff and Nunes made the request in a letter to the White House. The letter was first reported by The Associated Press. Trump has kept his distance from the press since last weekend, when he accused former President Barack Obama of wiretapping Trump Tower before the November election. Trump did not provide any evidence of the claim, and a spokesperson for Obama denied that he or any White House official called for the surveillance. I will be very disappointed, though not at all surprised, if the White House does not issue a statement on Monday that can be summarized as "allegation withdrawn".
I hope Obama/his legal counsel straight up sue him for libel.

Why does Intel involve itself into politics?
Why does Intel involve itself into politics?

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) and ranking member Adam Schiff (D-Calif.)
They're part of the house, so they are politicians just as much as they are part of intel. Unless you didn't read the article and you're assuming from the title that we're talking about the company.
After there's no evidence, he'll probably tweet again about how he's sure it happened, forgetting that that's what led them to demand evidence in the first place.

Trump would never admit to being wrong, he'll just deflect onto someone else like when they called him out at that press conference last month and he squirmed like a little bitch when they brought up the election numbers and corrected him "that's just what they told me" He'll either use his staff as a scapegoat or start crying about the democrats, maybe even take a jab at Rosie O'Donnel to try to deflect with humor(if he does this you know he knows he's screwed)

There's so much I could get done if I just disavowed facts and reality and played pretend.
