Have you heard a song about a very unique situation, conflict, state of mind, etc? Especially songs that have layers of interpretation.
For some examples, Pumped Up Kicks, Viva La Vida and some of Florence + The Machine's songs are about really fantastical (or specific) scenarios like being a psychopath, ruling a kingdom, etc.
I'm interested in what you guys know about.
My dad's been showing me the Doors.. needless to say I'm hooked.

"in my eyes" by minor threat is pretty much ian yelling about everything that pisses me off about alcohol and people who regularly consume it
there are tons upon tons of straight edge songs/bands but a lot of them are just something along the lines of "lol have fun ruining your body while i ~STAY CLEAN~" but few strike as many chords with me as this song. having alcoholics in my immediate family i can safely say booze makes me quite upset and the frustration and resentment in this song is some that speaks to me strongly
"sob story" is another minor threat one that talks about something i have not found a lot of other songs to talk about. a lot of my friends suffer from varying degrees of depression and i care a lot about them and wish desperately that i was more useful in trying to make things better for them. i worry about them, tear my hair out whenever it sounds like they're at a low point, and theres nothing i can do myself but i want life to stop sucking so bad for them. that said, as insensitive and scumbaggy as it is of me, i have a threshold for this stuff, and sometimes i eventually just get angry about them being so miserable all the time and life never letting up for them and even though i like to think i'm more angry "for" them than "at" them, the two just kind of run together at low points and i snap. it's awful and it's not fair to them but i get fucking exhausted. this song does that conflict too; first few verses are all "oh i feel so bad for you i wish things would get better" and then the last one is like "just shut the fuck up i'm sick of this"
basically what i'm saying is that ian mackaye said everything i could've ever wanted to rant about 10+ years before i was born

TBH I don't quite know what the song is about, but this fan made video is pretty awesome.
Benighted's Let The Blood Spill Between My Broken Teeth is unique in it's way of portraying a earthquake happening in the perspective of the planet:

It's about a paraplegic man who astrally projects too far and loses connection with his physical body. But at the same time its also about the drummer's sister who had committed suicide at 15.
