I can confirm this is exactly what making shashlik is like in here.
Marinating meat is an art , but yeah soi sauce and garlic that bitch up its godlike.
Shit, now I want some. Maybe if I hurry I can have some ready by new years.
Jesus christ, nobody eats this thing with mayonnaise. Every true slav would pick ketchup over that disgusting white substance.

I only like it in Russian/Olivier Salad(I mean it's the core component) and microwaved sandwiches, and for the latter it needs to be balanced or it gets GOD AWFUL. And it reminds me of an anecdote from a Bosnian pizzeria where a love couple's girlfriend(in an adjacent table) demanded just a bit too much mayo on her pizza from her boyfriend. :v: Literally the most hilarious experience I had in a place like that. And put in some butter for good measure.
Wait what, this sounds familiar I think my friend's brother makes this show.
It reminds me of the fact that I was too busy and the weather was mostly too shitty to go for a picknick and make some shashlik last summer. It saddens me deeply.
