Bishop of Limburg Franz-Peter Tebartz-van Elst is accused of spending more than 31m euros (£26m; $42m) on renovating his official residence. The Vatican said it deemed "appropriate... a period of leave from the diocese" for the bishop. The suspension comes two days after he met the Pope to discuss the matter.

He's like 18 wtf
What are you talking about?
Franz-Peter Tebartz-van Elst (born 20 November 1959) is a German Roman Catholic priest and pastoral theologian

What are you talking about?
He must be spending all that money on face-lifts too :(
Why did he have £26m that he was able to spend on personal things.
Why did he have £26m that he was able to spend on personal things.
Donations. It's odd, but the church I've attended raised above one million in a span of two weeks.
Donations. It's odd, but the church I've attended raised above one million in a span of two weeks.
Bloody hell, that's a lot. Was that just because they asked for donations, or they did some sort of charity bazaar thing and raised the money through that?
Bloody hell, that's a lot. Those sessions each target towards a specific different objective. The one that I've memtioned was for the construction of another center.
That's a really cool title. Imagine people asking what's your position. 'I'm the Bishop of Bling!'
Still, those money went out of the church and into other people's pockets. Hell of a right thing in my book. Amen bishop of bling bling
Well he got to meet the pope.
He should just become a rapper with a name like that
This calls for another reformation.

Other things that the eyes are the size of: small soccer ball, marble-sized marbles, large eyes, small round ceiling lamps and small European (excluding Great Britain) and/or east Asian electrical sockets.
