(CNN) -- A second American aid worker in Liberia has tested positive for Ebola, according to the Christian humanitarian group she works for. Nancy Writebol is employed by Serving in Mission, or SIM, in Liberia and was helping the joint SIM/Samaritan's Purse team that is treating Ebola patients in Monrovia, according to a Samaritan's Purse statement.
Source
Well, this isn't good.
is it too late to firebomb and bleach the entire area?
Wait, so is she in the United States? Or was her nationality the only thing that made this a news story? (User was banned for this post ("didn't read the article" - Orkel))
is it too late to firebomb and bleach the entire area?
Too early, unless you want to be the baddest guy since hitler.
Don't even care.
That ending was so stupid. Super ebola uber aids hurr. People do need to eat and I imagine these people don't have a huge range of various foods to choose from in order to not eat bushmeat.
Sometimes it helps to read the first 10 words of the story.
You have the perfect avatar here. Also, can we say "Almost attempting to spook Americans"?
Madagascar has closed it's borders, game over ebola
we better glass the entire planet just to be sure
people present in infectious hotspots become infected. incredible. If it starts spreading further or more aggressively then that's something to watch for.
we better glass the entire planet just to be sure
DeEz confirmed for closet SanShyuum
If Ebola successfully reaches Nigeria then we are fucked.
If Ebola successfully reaches Nigeria then we are fucked.
Why exactly?
Why exactly?
Nigeria has a tremendously large population (it ain't stopping). Nigeria is also poised to become one of the next great economic powers (N11) and U.S. interest in Nigeria is growing. I wouldn't say that all of us are fucked, but it would be a pretty huge setback.
I had no idea a single country could be the lynchpin of Ebola's 'End Humanity' plan.
I should have rephrased that, I'm sorry.
Wait, so is she in the United States? Or was her nationality the only thing that made this a news story?
Well, part of what he said has a point. The news story is meant to stand out because its an American being infected with the virus, when so many others probably are at the same time going through the same risks and infections. It is most likely trying to garner views through sympathy and fear/worry from ignorant browsers. As horrible as it is to see, her case alone isn't all that deserving of a news story.
If Ebola successfully reaches Nigeria then we are fucked.
i heard that it already has?
I had no idea a single country could be the lynchpin of Ebola's 'End Humanity' plan.
Did you also know that Ebola is voiced by Gilbert Gottfried? It's sort of like a grating version of Hexxus from Fern Gully.
Thread music
I have to admit that song is somewhat catchy
..So don't drink the water, don't eat the meat, and don't randomly screw people. You should be fine.
