Sorry, couldn't find the actual part on youtube. HOW AND WHY. Found one
There are no words.
Well, not surprised since he didn't know what Germany was.
Hey man thanks for giving him more publicity on a site that absolutely despises him. We already know he's a dumb fuck but thanks for reminding us!
This was a definite joke, if you make fun of him for supposedly not being able to name the continents, how far from him could you be if you cannot see the joke within this?
i don't see how a joke about not knowing something that everyone learns in elementary school would be funny. I think he's just uneducated

In summary, you've said worse shit don't act like you're a fucking saint

Also, you're being a presumptuous ass. You might want to tone that down a bit.
To be honest I reckon there's a lot of people that wouldn't be able to name the seven continents. Bieber doesn't deserve all the hate he gets. Sure, I'm not a massive fan of his music... but that's no reason to jump on the hate bandwagon and ridicule him at any given opportunity. From the interviews I've seen, he's actually a pretty decent lad. He's one of the few celebrities who can actually take the piss out of themselves, mind that time he walked into a glass door? The boy took it in his stride and laughed it off, if that was Jay Z, 5 bodyguards would have jumped on that door and busted it up, before denying all knowledge of the incident. Cut him some slack, the boy was a household name by the time he was 15. He's got talent, whether you actually enjoy his music or not is irrelevant. You should be able to appreciate the fact he has talent regardless, there's a lot more people out there more undeserving of fame than Bieber. [editline]25th November 2011[/editline] Also that Bieber song slowed by 800% alone makes his existence worthwhile.

Doesn't change the fact that it was meant to be a joke, and by that I mean, it was meant to be taken in a joking, non-serious manner. I apologize for the misunderstanding and any inconvenience arising form it.

Kind of like when Christina Aguilera couldn't sing the National Anthem. That night, the most searched topic on Google was "national anthem lyrics."
It's not as straight forward as it seems: Perhaps we should cut him some slack (lol no).
isnt it Oceania instead of australia?
Holy fucking shit he's dumber than I thought. I learned continents in 2nd grade oh wow thats so easy it's just 7 continents.

Australia is a continent?Isn't it called Oceania?
There's a couple of different continental models, some separate Europe and Asia, some call it Eurasia, some don't count Antartica etc.
i could only name 5
i could only name 5
Avatar fits then.
I would get it if he couldn't name Australia or Antarctica but Europe?
No, it really is as straight forward as it seems. That is unless you truly are uneducated.
I'd go the exact opposite way and say that it's 7 unless you put an educated mind to the fact that the set in stone "large mass, separated by oceans" is entirely incorrect for the standard 7, as antarctica is an archipelegio, North and South America used to be joined until the Panama canal, and that's only 14m deep or so, greenland is very large and separated by oceans, so why isn't it a continent and Europe and Asia happen to be attached, same for Africa and Europe+Asia
it's understandable if he was nervous but how could he not remember europe
I've always combined North America and South America as 1 continent.
isnt it Oceania instead of australia?
Whoa what when did they change that, I thought that was the tectonic plate name
Avatar fits then.
I think thats the joke man.
isnt it Oceania instead of australia?
I read it was Australasia, Spell check agrees.
NORYTH POAL? HURR
I read it was Australasia, Spell check agrees.
Spell check "agrees" because Australasia is an actual word, not because it's the continent's name. Wikipedia says that it isn't not Australia
