Findus beef lasagne contained up to 100% horsemeat, FSA says The meat content of some beef lasagne products recalled by Findus was up to 100% horsemeat, the Food Standards Agency has said. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-21375594
And still tastes good so?
And still tastes good so?
They're selling you something that isn't what they're telling you it is.
They're selling you something that isn't what they're telling you it is.
That's called Spam.
What's with all the horse meat in the UK? Is it insanely cheap or something compared to traditional beef?
And still tastes good so?
Apparently there's a fair chance the horse meat might be contaminated with a veterinary medicine known as 'bute' that can be harmful for humans, especially if the horses weren't reared specifically for meat, hence the worry. And 100% horse meat, how do you fuck up so badly?
That's called Spam.
Yeah dude except they tell you exactly what spam is
Wait. For it to be 100% horse meat, the pasta plates and cheese and tomato sauce gotta be horse-meat too.. Also, horse meat is delicious. This is a good thing!
Horsemeatgate seems to get more exciting every week.
And still tastes good so?
It's the lying that's bad here.
And still tastes good so?
I'm fine with eating horse meat, hell, I imagine it tastes better than beef due to the fact that horses are more active, so you'll get a leaner bit of meat. I'm not fine with false advertisement and companies not checking their suppliers properly.

In other news people decide eating horse meat is A ok because horses are delicious in lasagne apparently

"Animals treated with phenylbutazone are not allowed to enter the food chain as it may pose a risk to human health.
Probably isn't harmful, but there's a chance it might be.
What's with all the horse meat in the UK? Is it insanely cheap or something compared to traditional beef?
Some UK supermarkets who bought beef products from the same supplier got varying quantities of horse meat mixed in.

What if all this is made up to distract the population away from the real issues like how shit and useless the government are?
And still tastes good so?

Wait. For it to be 100% horse meat, the pasta plates and cheese and tomato sauce gotta be horse-meat too.. How sly of them.
They are selling one item, and giving the buyer an entirely different item. That's bad.
An item that might be poisonous. Which is the main concern here, and hence the reason the Food Standards Agency is involved, not Trading Standards.
That's called Spam.
Yeah because when they sell you Spam, you aren't getting Spam. In reality, all you're getting is spiced ham. It's a surprise the media hasn't gone into a frenzy over this already.
what the fuck, youre supposed to fuc...ride horses, not eat them crazy world, it is.
In other news people decide eating horse meat is A ok because horses are delicious in lasagne apparently
What exactly is wrong with eating horse? I mean in this case it's bad because you've been lied to, but if you know what that you're eating and it's entirely consensual what's wrong with that?
Where are all these horses coming from?
i can say that horse meat taste very good, and why use horse meat? it cost more than beef (at least here)
In other news people decide eating horse meat is A ok because horses are delicious in lasagne apparently
What? Well of course we're fine with eating something if it tastes good, it's not like horses are more entitled to not being eaten than pigs or cows
And still tastes good so?
so if you had a delicious steak that is the best tasting meal you can remember, then after you eat it the chef tells you it's human meat, all you would say is "so?"
If you buy Spam and expect any ingredient that sounds remotely safe or healthy, you're doing it wrong.
It still tastes awesome.
Wait. For it to be 100% horse meat, the pasta plates and cheese and tomato sauce gotta be horse-meat too.. Also, horse meat is delicious. This is a good thing!
100% of the meat, not the entire lasagna.
