I'm currently looking for a pixel artist to make assets for a zombie shooter with tower defense elements. I plan on releasing it on Android and possibly iOS at a later date. I'm looking for art similar to [B][URL="http://8bitdecals.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/pixel-video-game-characters-high-score-society.png"]this[/URL][/B]. Two versions of the game will be released; one with ads and some content removed (ex: less weapons) that's free and one with no ads and full content that'll cost a small amount of money. In return you'll receive 20% to 25% of any profit made as well as credit (of course) and something to brag about on your portfolio. Gameplay will involve killing zombies during waves, buying weapons (as well as weapon upgrades), character upgrades and defenses in between waves and placing them just before the start of the next wave. Small extras like achievements and leaderboards will also be added. I'm currently working on the game's core gameplay so I can't show much at the moment. However I can send you previous games I've worked on as well as various stats about them. If this is a two person project 20% doesn't sound like a good deal

Is it going to be top-down, is it going to be 2d sidescrolling, exactly how do you want the art to look like beyond the example.

My original post shows you what I want the art to look like as well as the perspective.
The image doesn't really demonstrate the perspective; it could easily be top down or sidescrolling which makes a big difference as far as art assets are concerned.

That's a completely different perspective.. In fact your game, the first image you showed, and don't starve are all different perspectives.
Are there any games that has the same gameplay as you imagine your game is going to have? I might be interested, I used to draw pixel art a lot a few years ago and I'd love to get back into it again :)

I've pretty much finished the core gameplay (apart from building defenses) and will post a couple of videos next week when I've added more content. Compare the characters from both games. Regardless I should've made it more clear and will edit my original post.
