1. The cat is clearly into fashion of some sort.
2. It's a cheap homemade solution to the lack of reflectors on the back of his bike. It's a safety thing for riding in the dark.

I think it's style, there's no way a bunch of CD's is a cheaper alternative to some Retroreflective tape. You can get a yard of it for a couple bucks, and the cool thing is the light reflects back towards the light source itself

Yeah, I would have thought buying a fuckton of CDs is more expensive than some reflectors.

cat's front legs look like that when they're bunched up close to their chest. Look at some pics of cats crouching, it looks the same way. also if you look close you can see they're in little straps on a handle so the cat doesn't fall off.
