The console controls are slow and clunky. With the keyboard and mouse, you have more control in FPS games. He's not saying that people who play on consoles are retards.

They say it has regenerating health because they want the game to, in a nutshell, be faster.
And they're doing that because like every other game today, you're not going to have to put any thought into it at all. The game has already played itself.
I hope i'm wrong, but either way, none of the rest of the game looks like a deus ex game anyway, so I don't know if I care or not..
