Man dies after hitting a wild boar - on the M4 motorway - Polidicks

A man died in a motorway crash involving a wild boar that had strayed onto the carriageway in darkness, in an area where the increasing population of the animals is causing problems. Populations of wild boar have risen recently, particularly in the Forest of Dean where the animals have caused havoc by digging up a cemetery and damaging a roadside verge. I'm betting the dingus swerved and lost control. Always best to brake and hit the animal rather than try to swerve. You'll do less damage to your car hitting the animal 9 times out of 10, and you run a FAR lower risk of losing control of your car.

In fact he probably bounced off of it, then the lorry smacked him.
