Man dies after hitting a wild boar - on the M4 motorway
19 replies, posted
A man died in a motorway crash involving a wild boar that had strayed onto the carriageway in darkness, in an area where the increasing population of the animals is causing problems.
Populations of wild boar have risen recently, particularly in the Forest of Dean where the animals have caused havoc by digging up a cemetery and damaging a roadside verge.

If you guys want, we could send some of our hunters with helicopters. They tend to do the job well over here... :v:
Make it open season on boars, they're a fucking menace.
Well that sucks, reminds me of Robert Baratheon from game of thrones though in terms of the situation.

Damn road hogs
I'm betting the dingus swerved and lost control. Always best to brake and hit the animal rather than try to swerve. You'll do less damage to your car hitting the animal 9 times out of 10, and you run a FAR lower risk of losing control of your car.

They're not the same as American counterparts and in significantly low number. In fact I believe there are only a hundred in the UK.

We thought we saw the last of them, until our children went missing one by one, and now, we've realized we made the most terrible mistake any humans can make, assuming.
I would hunt them but they taste too fatty which is not for me

Largest herd is 200 in Kent. Compared to say the average 20 million in Texas.

I can't get the source to work on mobile, but it is very possible to swerve and still hit it.

That car he was driving is almost as small as a typical boar. In fact he probably bounced off of it, then the lorry smacked him.
what kind of mutant boars are you seeing that are the size of subcompact cars
Must be one of those North Carolina ones:
