Okay so i don't know if any of you know "World War Z".
There is a book about it, and the book is from Max Brooks, and tells stories about zombies that are all over the world and to survive in a zombie outbreak.

The book is released in September 12, 2006.

There is still not much known about the movie. only that the character of the movie is: Brad pitt.

My favorite book. He mixes cultural and social criticism with zombies in an interesting plot and format.
The book was, in my opinion, EXTREMELY well written based both on the various perspectives, and the variety of survivors and their stories. I mean, hell, it ranges from grunts in the U.S. Army to the captain of a Chinese nuclear submarine! :D

Yes ofcourse? What the problem with that? I'm fond of watching movies then reading books but i still add the book version of it in the thread just in case...
maybe ill change my mind in the future and buy the book.

If it's primarily about the movie then you're in the wrong section
The audio for the battle of Yonkers was horrifying. Mainly because of the screams towards the end.
Actually reading this right now (I'm late to the fight, I know), and it's really good so far. Not exactly what I expected after TZSG, but really interesting no doubt.
There's a thread for this in film and television?

It was ok I guess, people make it out to be way better than it actually is. Honestly I'd rather just watch 28 Days Later or something.
It's going to be interesting to see how Brad Pitt does the role.
I got my copy of this and the Zombie Survival Guide signed by Max Brooks at Comic Con in Manhattan. Lost the ZSG though. World War Z was good but it wasn't [I]amazing[/I].
Fantastic book. I read it about 2 years ago, and can still vividly remember my imagination coming up with what the Battle of Yonkers looked like from what I read...

World War Z is far better than Zombie Survival Guide...the advice in the guide just doesn't make sense most of the time. He prefers melee weapons and using a bicycle to get around...sure fire way to get eaten.
