I for one loved the absolute shit out of the first film and have read the graphic novel for the second a fair few times over.
However a lot of people I've spoken to do not seem to share the same opinion aside from one guy who got to be an extra.

Yeah the first one was great, sure, but this has a different director and a different screenplay writer than the first, so who knows how this will go. I hope it still works out, though.

Actually I thought whilst the first one was fun it also had some major heartbreaking scenes, like the part where [sp]Big Daddy is burning and Hit Girl goes all enraged to save him[/sp] I'm hoping this follows the same kind of balance.

The comic is much more gruesome, instead of [sp]getting burned on a chair[/sp] he gets [sp]shot with a gun to the head infront of his daughter.[/sp]
The Kick Ass 2 comic is more violent than the first, and more heartbreaking. I'm curious to see how the movie deals with that.

Jeez Hit-Girl grew up and it's now a lot less charming and looks weird. I dunno I'm looking forward to this, but the marketing started real late considering this comes out in a few months.
