Just disable the Kinect
who really thought this was a good idea
who really thought this was a good idea
Microsoft hired Soccer mom's for this kinect 2.0 so that its (safer) for children (BAD KILL ME).
who really thought this was a good idea
There's a point in simulation games where you have to stop
This guy is terrible.
I just think this is fucking hilarious
lol who cares. this is a great feature. if you get penalised in the real sport for swearing at the referee n stuff then it's a cool addition to have the same thing simulated in the game. you can always turn it off

finally something amazing out of a yearly release
who really thought this was a good idea
If it's in multiplayer, a fantastic idea.
If you can't slam with the best, just fuck the rest.
I don't know how to respond to this. On one hand, cursing infront of people online seems to be something Microsoft (and the third-party devs) is trying to curb. But punishing the player's own bad language with a detriment within the game itself is.. I dunno, it's both a weird disconnect and just kinda really bothersome. And we all know Xbox Live is full of people who curse on a dime, so..
I can't tell if you're joking.
I think it's a cool feature, provided you can actually turn it off without turning off the Kinect. Since that's most likely not the case, then yes, it's a dumb feature.
How is it a weird disconnect?
It seemed to penalize the character he was controlling at the moment for himself cursing. I dunno why, it just bothers me somehow.
If it's in multiplayer, a fantastic idea.
It's dumb. You can say much more horrible things without saying the word "fuck"
It's dumb. You can say much more horrible things without saying the word "fuck"
You do realize that it probably detects more than just 'fuck'. Fuck is just the only thing we have seen it respond to so far.
You do realize that it probably detects more than just 'fuck'. Fuck is just the only thing we have seen it respond to so far.
I'm saying it's stupid to try to sensor at all. It probably couldn't detect "I'm going to break into your house and cut you up while you sleep" If someone is saying something that offends you, join another match
I'm fine with Kinect xbox-wise, but integrating it like that in a game is ridiculous. Although it'd be hilarious to troll kiddies online to win games.

"Fuck" is the perfect word for what I'm looking for.

Kinect 3.0 has a simple pistol attached
that's fucking hilarious, oh my god [editline]2nd December 2013[/editline] according to NBA's lore, your character is a manager standing on the sidelines. it's a very immersive experience to see yourself being escorted off of the court after throwing a virtual tantrum

why are people getting so worked up over this, if you start badmouthing in the sport you get penalized, this is actually awesome implementation of Kinect I want more shit like this
what
don't laugh i'm the top contributor on nba's wiki page. i maintain the character backstories and have made a very in depth article about mitch kupchak [editline]2nd December 2013[/editline]
why are people getting so worked up over this, if you start badmouthing in the sport you get penalized, this is actually awesome implementation of Kinect I want more shit like this
i think little gimmicks like this are really neat. obviously didn't take too long to develop, so there's really no harm in having it in the game. you could always just turn off the kinect if you're incapable of not swearing at videogames
