911/Mr. Lonely is the highlight for me, so smooth and a surprise Frank feature

Tyler's pop tracks have always interested me way more than his rap.
Finally new music! Cherry Bomb really wasn't for me, I've been patiently (and cautiously) waiting ever since Wolf. Leaning more towards 911/Mr. Lonely, but both are sounding pretty great.
I'm happy Tyler still makes music.
Listened to his shit since Wolf, very good music to listen to while stoned
He seems to make his music in such a way that it can be made into a music video and still make sense, like a little short film. I admire that.
Who dat boy is growing on me, Mr Lonely is fantastic though, pretty pumped for this new album
tbh I want Tyler to work on a horror film with Alan Resnick Imagine how absolutely fucked it would get [editline]1st July 2017[/editline]
I need a full version of that track at the end. new tyler
Hopfully what ever he's got planned for the future is as good as Bastard or Wolf.
new tyler
whole album leaked actually, it's quite nice
Yeah album is good turns out girl I'm talking to knows one of Tylers friends and she has met Tyler she said she already listened to the whole album months ago [editline]11th July 2017[/editline] Thats pretty cool is what I'm saying
I'll wait for the official release on spotify
I'm liking what I hear so far [sp]Also all this clickbait on youtube wondering if Tyler is gay from a lyric[/sp]
I hope Tyler's bisexual. Gives me a chance! :pride:
I'm liking what I hear so far [sp]Also all this clickbait on youtube wondering if Tyler is gay from a lyric[/sp]
Album leaked, very clear that he's gay/bi. Has a line that says "I've been kissing white boys since 2004." Happy for Tyler, though, can't imagine how hard it must be to reveal your sexuality as such a public figure - hard enough as a normal person.

Dudes got his stuff figured out.
whether your personal politics agree with bringing that stuff to the forefront or not, if hes gay thats a pretty big deal, the rap industry/community has long been dominated by straight dudes or dudes in the closet saying hateful shit about gays, and is slowly becoming/has become more accepting than it used to be
I don't mind some of Tyler's music but with that being said he isn't largely respected in the rap community as a whole so I doubt it will change much. He's more of just a strictly hip-hop/pop icon. Sounds kind of elitist but I find most people that are really into Tyler's tracks aren't that into strictly rap in general, and I get that; I mean Tyler's beats/production are a lot more pop and sometimes even rock-esc than the more traditional bassy sounding rap beats/production so I can see why it appeals to more audiences.
I don't mind some of Tyler's music but with that being said he isn't largely respected in the rap community as a whole so I doubt it will change much.
Maybe not in the mainstream hip-hop industry, but he is definitely a very well-regarded in alt hip-hop (closer to Jay-Z and Frank's fields) and fashion communities.
Sure but those guys/communities aren't the ones regularly accused of being homophobic or making homophobic comments. [editline]123[/editline] If Tyler is actually coming out of the closet good for him, but if I'm honest I don't really care one way or the other. I think some of his tracks are pretty decent, and in general his music videos have been pretty killer. So I don't think him coming out is really going to be a leap of progressiveness for rap like I've read some people claim. I've been hugely into rap ever since I was a kid and I think when it comes to music like rap be as racist, sexist or homophobic as you like lyrically, I mean most of it is just bullshit that rhymes.
yeah for sure tyler isn't exactly the in-crowd in the rap community, i mean several of his songs p much identify his audience as being suburban white dudes but its still a nice thing to see in general i dont agree with the idea that the sometimes bigoted lyrics in rap being just lyrics though, the black community in general isn't known for being very kind to lgbt people and it reflects in the music especially in the early 90s when you could get away with it more
the primary consumer base for hip hop is suburban white dudes because of just how fucking many suburban white dudes there are
Another single
