I just skimmed the article, but it seems the visit being cancelled and resulting outrage was because of violent agitators, not the peaceful protest? In any case I [I]don't agree with pulling funding over it[/I], especially since Berkeley themselves were refusing to cancel the visit until violence broke out. But this certainly isn't "peaceful protest causes right freakout", police mentioned that a separate group came and caused violence.

Shadow president bannon strikes again Trump supporters knew who Bannon was, knew his stances and his proximity to Trump AND still voted for him.
