I mean to be honest it's not hard to imagine people getting angry at politicians to the point of death threats and vandalization, they ARE the go to target when people feel the country is going to shit.

This is probably mostly made up of people sending threats via social media. Which probably happens a lot considering the current climate.

Hell go to the BBC comments section on any Brexit story and its full of people calling for MPs that voted for remain to be hung as traitors.
