Also, they're getting that much HP because they're running on race gas. They'll probably do between 1000 HP and 1200 HP on pump gas.

The straight isn't long enough for them to reach those speeds.
the GTR on slicks was clearly going to win, that isn't really fair
I'm just amazed an engine can survive such pressure. Can only imagine all the test engines that blew out in the lab.
Not just any GT-R, lost to the Omega--fastest R35 GT-R in any straight line race.

I'm pretty certain the amount of money pooled into the Omega is nearing to as much as the Huracan had pushed into it.
They went through a lot of test engines to make the Omega what it is. The whole car is custom, custom engine block, custom cylinders, custom camshafts, specialised transmission built purely for that car (only 3 of them exist currently, 1 in the car and two replacements), completely custom built intercooler and intake.
