Made out of boredom, was going for better quality audio/visual in the render CD Projekt Red said no new updates on Cyberpunk 2077 until 2017! Hopefully the long wait will pay off.
2017?! What the fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck
2017?! What the fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck
They really shouldn't have announced it so early.
Honestly... the Weeknd really doesn't work for this. Like when Robocop looks at his partner while the lyrics are "I just fucked two bitches before I saw you". I mean, it's funny. But... I know you weren't going for that.
They really shouldn't have announced it so early.
the point of the teaser was to announce that they were hiring.
the point of the teaser was to announce that they were hiring.
I never knew that, after the work theyve done with Witcher 3 though I've got high hopes for this game
5 years of development is pretty average.
Yes, but they shouldn't have announced it this early.
Maybe the takaway here is that the song doesn't fit at all.
One line of lyric shouldn't make the entire song not fit.
One line of lyric shouldn't make the entire song not fit.
Well yeah, it can
Well yeah, it can
But what if the Robocop guy did fuck two bitches before he saw her?
Not long after they announced Cyberpunk, they said they wouldn't be working on it until after the Witcher 3 was done, as they want all hands on deck for Cyberpunk. There is still new content to develop for Witcher 3 so they're not quite done with it yet. If they finish it sometime next year, that will give them about a year to get things ready for a really solid trailer during E3 or the like in 2017. With CDPR's record, especially after how marvelous Witcher 3 was, Cyberpunk 2077 is absolutely in the running to be my all time favorite game. Cyberpunk is my favorite genre, but so few games have come close, or even tried to come close, to really capturing it in video games. Though honestly video games have done better than movies in my book.

CDPR has a proven track record, and the source material alone, as someone who loves the very specific material it is drawing from (The Pen and Paper Cyberpunk RPG) as well as the broader genre, that already gives it a strong standing. Further, the trailer actually does given insight in to the game itself by showing off the world and some of the direction for the design. We got to see cyberpsychosis, the Psycho squad, cybernetic implants, the big towering buildings disappearing through the clouds, a lot of elements that detail the world and relate it back to the PnP game. It also has Mike Pondsmith involved in the design process, the guy primarily responsible for the Cyberpunk PnP game. So it has a lot of things rolling for it.

Probably going to see a teaser this Christmas and get a full reveal at E3 or something
i get being hyped for games / having faith in certain developers but making claims like this when we have nothing to go off of aside from a pre-rendered trailer + some short articles is just silly.
except the part where the man who made the DND game in the first place was literally asked from the heads of CDPR to make the game. The dude originally said no because its his baby, but they turned around and told them all the things they wanted to do that was shit even he forgot about. After that he has since been on board and extremely happy with CDPR's progress.

CDPR have been quoted as saying there may not be any news until 2017
One line of lyric shouldn't make the entire song not fit.
It's more like all of the lyrics.
It's more like all of the lyrics.
I guess it's all perspective
They really shouldn't have announced it so early.
yeah but then we couldn't get rad shit like this:
I guess it's all perspective
I think you should just stop posting your stuff, you post it, we don't like it cause the music doesn't go with the game/trailer/whatever's happening and you just go "it's a matter of opinion" even though pretty much most people said it doesn't go
THIS FUCKING SONG IT WAS SO GOOD THEN IT WAS ON EVERY FUCKING THING JESUS CHRIST FUCK
THIS FUCKING SONG IT WAS SO GOOD THEN IT WAS ON EVERY FUCKING THING JESUS CHRIST FUCK
I find this post more funny because you are on a mac as well. Anyway, what is so bad that a song gets more attention?
This trailer is like watching a movie based on a book and not liking or understanding something in the movie because you didn't read the book. [editline]13th July 2015[/editline]
I find this post more funny because you are on a mac as well. Anyway, what is so bad that a song gets more attention?
Any good song can become annoying when you feel like you're forced to listen to it more than you want. I liked the Gotye - Somebody song but after my local station at one point literally played it more than 5-6 times in a single day I just cant consciously choose to listen to it anymore.
I find this post more funny because you are on a mac as well. Anyway, what is so bad that a song gets more attention?
What does me having to own a mac have anything to do with this? snipp'd Anyways let me clear this up - The Weeknd is a talented producer/artist and this song is awesome, I love it. However it has recently been used in so much pop culture shit that I can't listen to it anymore. Things like #DontJudgeChallenge, shitty re-edits like these, and snapchat. It was overused and killed. Not to mention the radio, Love that he has success but damn people really need to learn that just because a song sounds good, it doesn't mean it will fit with everything. Especially this trailer. Yes I understand it is an emotional song but it is about drug use and shit, not anything to do with..cyberpunk.. edit: oh I get it because Apple is on everything
