The report is confirmed by Dionisio Soldevila of ESPN Deportes and Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports. Taveras was 22. Per MLB.com’s Jenifer Langosch, the Cardinals are waiting for more details before confirming the news.
He got struck out
He got struck out
come on.
Him being younger than me by two days and dead really affects me for some reason.
He got struck out
Swing and a miss.
Him being younger than me by two days and dead really affects me for some reason.
He's 2 years younger then I am. Whenever someone younger than me dies it always weirds me out.
It's such a fucking shame. Everyone was really high on him because he had all the tools to be a superstar and was already good in just his rookie year when he did get the chance to play. I'm not a Cardinals fan by any means, but I still love the game itself so I love seeing it played well, and that dude could make contact and hit a ball like no one's business. He would have been a household name in a few years. It's just such a shame.
