1)download internet download manager [url]http://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/[/url]
2)install then close Firefox and reopen it.
3)press the download button BUT in the URL copy everything
EXCEPT=([url]http://coblitz.codeen.org/[/url]) then paste it in the address box.
(so my last URL is s3.garrysmod.org/files/47254/gm_new_worlds.zip)
4)Enjoy your fast download.

NOOO there are always sometimes when the garrysmod.org download speeds are 3bytes/sec
Mine is always 1.5mb/sec but something is going on with the download provider dumbass.

My dl speed's always fine from gmod.org. Tip top speed, wot wot.
I downloaded a 2mb file in 2 hours.
Sometimes fast, sometimes unbearable.
Last night it took me 30 minutes to download a 1.5MB map from garrysmod.org

I get pretty good speeds from there. The slowest I've ever had it go is 30kbps. I'd consider that a good speed based on my internet connection, but you all likely have connections 10 times as fast.... So I can see how that'd seem slow to you.

I have a 10Mb connection. The highest speed I get on there is about 2KB/s

Try when its midnight where the site is hosted.
I have never had to remove that half of the URL, I always use IDM to download stuff, recently Filefront became IDM-friendly so happy me :smile:
