Just a warning, some of the Youtubers in this video are a bit obnoxious, but the race itself is pretty intense especially towards the end. Ten people try to race one speedrunner to get 70 stars in Super Mario 64 and beat the one speedrunner. There's also a highlight video if you're not interested in watching the whole hour-long video, I haven't watched it so I'm not sure if its good. shoutout to simpleflips
That's impressive stuff. It was also pretty funny to hear them freak out when simpleflips got his 70th and started moving towards the fight.

Simpleflips has an awesome youtube channel btw. I totally recommend it.
Shoulda invited pannenkoek and see how that goes
My only gripe is that TaitherZ had their starcount censored for whatever reason, which reeeeeally annoyed my lizard brain that wanted a Constant Update on their team's score.
I'm not sure if he has done much speedrunning. Most of his videos where he shows off tricks is him doing a TAS from what I can tell.
He still has pretty good execution if I recall correctly. Not sure if he knows any of the current routes though.

Why are some players stars blurred out in the short video? Edit: I literally Ctrl + F "blur" and didn't find anything. My bad guys.

Kevin really triggered me with how bad he was. Like i get not everyone can be amazing. but "hey the wind is blowing me backwards when i jump and i cant progress. I guess i better just sit here and keep jumping" Kept making the same mistakes over and over and over without trying something different. That said it was very close and the freak out was great.
wow that was actually pretty fucking great. loved the PANIC ending lol. [editline]8th October 2017[/editline]
Kevin really triggered me with how bad he was.
i mean to be fair he was panicking and everyone was yelling nonstop for him to hurry up lmao. probably hard to concentrate and think straight.
So has anyone tried to route a ten-person SM64O run yet? I can't imagine how complicated that would be. 100S might actually be easier.
I'd love to see something as simple as a two or four man speedrun of SM64 Online, but I think the main thing is that AGDQ isn't going to host a SM64O speedrun. I think this might pique interest in the multiplayer speedrun community so we'll see.

The game in general is stupidly popular, and they're running out of new ways to run it - they've done 120 star (five times), 70 star (twice), 0/1 star, 120 star race (twice), 70 star race, 16 star race, 0/1 star race, and 16 star one-handed. Plus a SM64DS run and the SM64M run. Plus that time they did a 1 Key TAS and streamed it to a SNES.
I'm watching agdq less and less because there's no spicy runs anymore, SM64O would get me back into it.
The sequel: EDIT: [sp]It's a lot less fun when the youtubers actually know what they're doing[/sp]
