Doesn't have to be a critical decision of "what is the best", but rather your top 10 most favourite/most listened albums of the 70s. If you don't listen to any albums from that decade, then you can scroll this thread for something you may like.

I never really understood all the hype around Selling England by the Pound, I've listened to it a few times and I enjoy the first few tracks, especially First of Fifth, and I mostly enjoy it, however I really dislike the Battle of Epping Forest and my overall opinion of it is that it's good, but not great
On prog though, I feel I oughta throw out an honourable mention to Camel - Camel, another one of my all time favourites (especially from the 70s)

Provide your own discussion if you feel we're lacking. :smug:

Another Green World was released that year too, close call.

Well yeah, that's because it isn't a conversation/question thread.
"Post your" threads in this section give it credibility. People see them, and know that we're a great community.
In no particular order:
Jethro Tull - Stormwatch
Gentle Giant - Octopus
Pink Floyd - Meddle
Kraftwerk - The Man Machine
Tom Waits - Nighthawks at the Diner
Marvin Gaye - What's Going On
Genesis - Selling England by the Pound
Herbie Hancock - Headhunters
Camel - Camel
Yes - Fragile
