• The story of MY surgery

So, before i jump into my first long post in quite some time, i need to fill you all in on what my surgery is based on. When i was between the ages of 5-10 i would get upset for my parents saying no and thus i would dive into a hellish rage and slam my head against ANYTHING weather it be wood, concrete or the fucking car window i would do it. Well now that i am 19 i am reaping the rewards of my stupidity. I "had" and i use that word in past tense as of yesterday morning. I had a what is called a deviated septum. It's where there is not severe to pretty fucking severe cartlige damage in the nose. I broke my nose when i was in the "head banging" stage if you will. And yesterday on the 14th of july 2010. At exactly 8:00 am I was put under for a 2 hour surgery. What the doctor did was he, broke my nose back into place, and took a bunch of cartlige from my ear to insert into my nose. Well that went fine and dandy, untill i woke up and was told that my case was much worse then he had though so they had to bring in donor cartlige which i'm thankful to say i am writing the family a note on how there son/daughter saved my nose. Anyway my nose is fixed but it's stuffed with cotton until next friday when the doctor has to remove the shit so i can breath. It's such a great joy. Why i say it's such a great joy is because i have not been able to breathe properly for the past 9 years which has affected my exercise, eating habits, and many countless everyday tasks. The only part i have to do now is lay in my bed till i go to work again on Wednesday and relax and play xbox and be on the pc. Now if you have managed to stay with me this long I have been kind to add some pictures. Now know i will try to update pictures and maybe throw in some ICKY bloody ones as well. THIS is yesterday's photo from when i got home from the surgery about 3 hours after. notice no brusing. This is today the 15th of July. IF you can see it, around my eyes are pretty swollen and bruised, and i'm in A LOT of pain. and for a good referance this is what my big nose looked like before the "cosmetic" operation. Thank you for taking the time to read about a fellow FPer's pain and humilation but meh, i don't care what others think. lol. If this is in anyway the wrong area mod's please don't ban but merely move for me thank you all.
Haha Sorry, hope you get better. Does it hurt?
So this months trend will be horrible accidents and surgery.

I had surgery on my hand once.
I had the same surgery but I was born with the deviated septum. I had the surgery when I was 15-16. My nose was pretty misshapen before the surgery. Hurts to laugh doesn't it?
And colors.
and shapes notice how i said my BIG ass nose, which shouldn't be so big by the time i get the splint off. I'm aiming for a young brad pitt nose type. but yes it hurts, i mean the slightest touch sends pain through my face and if i sit up too fast or get any sort of blood rush to my head, the gauze held by that pretty blue thing is soaked with blood and has to be replaced and then i have to shoot saline up my fucking nose and spit the juice out of my mouth. It sucks much horrid ass.

STOP LYING WE KNOW IT WAS COCAINE
I had surgery on my hand once.
I had surgery to remove a ganglion cyst from my hand.
If it means anything, if that's you're jersey in the background I'm glad you can correctly spell your last name. The A in my username is Andersen. (Edit: Yes, I do realize how stupid that was once I posted and remembered I changed my avatar.) (Oh, and feel better.)

[editline]12:05AM[/editline]
"Mummy can I have a Cookie?" "no" *THUNK*
pretty much, i once remember getting mad i slammed my head on my mom's beetle windsheild.....ya my ass was beat but the window fared off worse. with a giant fucking crack.
I've never heard of anything like that. I actually just had my appendix out a few weeks ago. [editline]08:12PM[/editline] I want to see the gross pictures
-snip-
My brother did the same thing with the head banging. When our parents said no he would punish them by hurting himself. Looking back on the pictures he always has a giant brown bruise on his forehead.
It seems one of my nostrils are always clogged. It moves around from time to time and I can't really breath right either because it takes a good 4 seconds to fill my lungs through my nose, but nothing as bad as this.
You must have had terrible parents if they let you purposely damage your face as a kid.
I knew a girl with a scar on her forehead from banging her head into stuff her whole life. It was just because she was stupid, though.
Why would you bang your head on things? It sucks being an adult, dealing with all the stupid shit you did as a kid. :/
Wow, your parents were pretty horrible. If I had a kid that banged his stupid little head on everything I would find a way to stop. Put a loving pillow in front of his head or something.
Well that must stink not being able to breathe normally. Hope it gets better.
Had surgery on my eye two years ago. Third one too.
Ya i know blame the parents, but they would try to stop me but i remember always running away from them and baning my head on my bed or shit.
