Holy fuck. In the desc he mentioned Facepunch--if you're here, I'd love to know how you did the text, like the animations and fades. It looks so clean and elegant.
I guess the only criticisms I have is sometimes the animations and renders felt very stale and rushed, the bit where the X-wings flew over some mountains in particular, very flat and uninteresting lighting matched with kinda robotic and choppy animations on both objects and cameras (which only really stood out because everything prior was very smooth and simplistic in style), plus very noticeably low sampling on the render itself. But other than that, top notch work!
This was great! My favorite thing about the sequence was when the camera was anchored to the airbrake of a snowspeeder, instead of the rear of the speeder; I love when cameras are hinged onto something and not just a static location relative to something.
The only gripe I have is that Luke is missing the wrong hand as he's falling. Other than that, this was a fantastic piece of work.
More movies should have Bond intros
This just proves more that Radiohead should have gotten the title song instead of Sam Smith, it just works so well in that kind of sequence.
