I wonder if people who make screamers jump at their own jumpscare constantly when editing their videos. Even when you expect it, it still makes you jump a bit.

I remember seeing something that said that the truly scary horror scenes either cause a sustained "flight" response (oh shit oh shit it's following me oh god), or make your brain not definitively know whether to activate the threat response so you just feel utter dread and discomfort (I don't like how this abandoned house feels... I swear that painting is staring at me.) Screamers do neither of these because it's just "AAAoh it was nothing"

okay so i did a little digging and found this channel is listed under the "other projects" section of bluwood film's channel. if you've ever heard of the cave of shadows ARG then these were the guys behind it.

the mp3 file is simply a teenage voice saying:

when i saw the info on bluewood's page, i went back to check out the cave of shadows stuff, specifically elias doyle: if you weren't following the ARG then elias was someone claiming to be investigating the situation (who is almost definitely involved). you can learn more about the ARG [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KPgKnKUMAuc]here[/url] but the important detail is that elias livestreamed himself opening a box he discovered when searching for details about the cave of shadows, and inside the box he found a bunch of stuff, notably a USB flash drive and a floppy disc

the USB drive had some weird stuff but strangest of all were pictures of elias sleeping (this pretty much confirms that he was involved in the ARG, of course) and the box says that he's gonna be visited at a specific date, he follows up with a livestream of him on that date in which the power goes out and people supposedly show up at his house

here's a mirror of the exerpt_1-a.mp3 file from the foundonthedisc clip, compare the voice in the recording to that of elias doyle in the videos above. they sound pretty damn close to me so i'm assuming that bluwood films are planning to merge their cave of shadows storyline with the never-concluded spectacle of foundonthetape, likely by claiming that these new clips are what elias discovered on the floppy disc
this is a whole lot of nothing and isn't all that interesting but as someone who followed the original foundonthetape ARG i figured i'd see what i could find, and honestly i really don't believe this is an actual continuation, rather it's an unaffiliated group hoping to [del]leech[/del] expand upon the weird foundations foundonthetape established. it's a shame the original ARG never lead to anything final but it was fun trying to figure it all out, so maybe this new series will try to stay true to the classics. hell, maybe the original foundonthetape creator is actually involved in this, maybe we'll see some authentic waffles
