Bruce Willis to play "The Thing" in Fantastic Four reboot?
Bruce Willis isn't unfamiliar with the comic book and superhero genres, having previously starred in adaptations of "Sin City" and "Surrogates." He's set to voyage further into the medium with "Red" this coming weekend, but the ride won't stop there -- if rumors are to be believed, at least.
This past summer, a rumor floated around that Willis might be up for the part of Ben "The Thing" Grimm in 20th Century Fox's reboot of the "Fantastic Four" franchise. When MTV News spoke with Willis at a recent press junket for "Red," Willis identified the rumor as exactly that — a rumor — but it's a rumor that he just so happens to like.
"It's a rumor, but I love rumors," said Willis. "I haven't gotten that call yet. It's a good rumor, though. I like that film. It's a good comic, as well."
Beyond "Fantastic Four," there's another superhero project that Willis would "absolutely" love to pursue: a sequel to "Unbreakable," the 2000 thriller written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan. Asked about the possibility of that project coming to life, Willis said: "You better talk some sense into M. Night Shyamalan and see if we can get that to come around."

I really hope they do a sequel for Unbreakable. Would be nice to see how his character has been using his powers.

Because you didn't read "Fantastic Four?"
With him in it, there may just be more action.

They're making a 2nd one.
Why reboot it? The last movies weren't that bad IMO.

Unnecessary reboot IMO.

Darn, that's the movie I thought this was about when I entered this thread, forgetting to read the second part of the title...
I need to see if there's been any updates on the new version of The Thing.

Everyone's trying to join the Reboot bandwagon after the success of The Dark Knight (Superman, Spiderman, Fantastic Four, etc.)
He'd be better as Lex Luthor.
Honestly, I thought he was going to play him in the first 2.

Honestly, as long as the reboot isn't boring then I'm cool with it. We have basically exhausted everything when it comes to movies - next to nothing is unique anymore.
I would like to see a remake of Predator and Predator 2, as long as Arnold Schwarzenegger would still be in it. The odds of that are rather slim though... don't get me wrong, the original's were great but with todays technology I really feel they could be so much better.

They saw how badass a superhero movie could be and decided to edge and darken it up. Too bad nothing will compete with Dark Knight.

You shut your dirty mouth. That movie is perfect as it is, oldschool special effects and all.
Predator 2 they can do whatever they like with however.
Fuck yeah I love Bruce Willis, hopefully this film won't be as terribad as the others.

:sigh:
Go ruin some other film.
"in Fantastic Four reboot"
... it's been long enough to reboot the Fantastic 4? It's only been three years :raise:

Yeah, but I still feel it could be better. It's still one of the best movies I've seen to date though.
Fuck that...
nothing can save the Fantastic 4 franchise after it got raped by Hollywood over and over
*even if its a re-boot
Hopefully the Fantastic Four reboot will be as good as The Hulk reboot. The first one was shit, the reboot was great.
Who knows, they might do more crossovers with other Marvel films.
