So let's talk about some natural performance enhancing shit that you might not have even known was in your house: Cinnamon - this tasty shit is probably one of the most common to see in people's kitchens. However what a lot of people don't know is that's a fucking super spice. Cinnamon has a range of studies on it's benefits, ranging from anti oxidant and cancer fighting to, most importantly for physique/fitness minded people, increasing insulin sensitivity. I can't give you a round figure on the amount of cinnamon you'd need to ingest to really reap benefits from it, but it tastes fucking amazing with anything, so just powder your fucking oatmeal and protein shakes in that shit. Pretty much if you consider yourself health conscious and you aren't using cinnamon you're fucking dumb hth Capsaicin - capsaicin is the active component of chilli peppers and other plants belonging to the genus Capsicum (we just call peppers Capsicums here in Oystralia because we're not fucking dumb except on weekends hth), so basically you will find alot of this shit in stuff like Cayenne pepper. Capsaicin is a pretty powerful anti-inflammatory (ironic i know) and has been correlated with potentially enhanced fat loss. You should just man the fuck up and roll your chicken breasts in cayenne pepper because it tastes amazing and is fucking packed with vitamins. Curcumin - Those fucking curry munchers were onto something with this. Curcumin is what gives Tumeric (curry powder) it's strong yellow color. Curcumin has a large body of work behind it associating it with increased fat loss, anti-inflammatory, anti-viral and anti-oxidant properties. Probably the only part that really pertains to the interests of you fags is the fact that it has potential as an anti-cortisol. However there's a catch. Curcumin is also potentially toxic in very high concentrations, but nobody gives a shit because nobody is ingesting kilograms worth of curcumin so scientists can suck my dick Panax Ginseng - you've probably seen Ginseng in a lot of energy drinks and with good reason; it's a pretty powerful stimulant. Panax is Asian ginseng (the distinction is pretty important if you are looking to reap the benefits; American ginseng does not possess the same ergogenic attributes) and has a number of studies pointing towards increased brain function, and in higher doses, improved reflexes, which makes this an interesting product for those of you competing in combat sports or shit that requires good reaction times. As to the concentration you need and length of time to really reap noticeable benefits, I leave that to you to research yourself. A number of fairly solid products out there have forumlas with high panax concentration, or you could just get liquid capsules from a reliable producer. You probably want to get it in supplement form because trust me real ginseng tastes like shit. (side note: Caffeine MAY be an inhibitor/conflicting substance for panax ginseng, so if you really want to give it a try over a suitable perioid like 12 weeks or more, try to avoid caffeine where you can ) Yeah I'm forgetting a lot but w/e Fucking smart.
Any sources on this ? I know of a lot of stuff as well, but it just leads to you having expensive piss.
You don't have to use with every meal and in industrical quantites. Jeez, that's not whey p.

Googling with my fat gay fingers is v. hard work. If you like you can go on pubmed. There are huge amounts of work regarding Cinnamon, curcumin and capsaicin. Panax Ginseng I will find later because it's a bit more obscure. [editline]2nd August 2011[/editline]
You don't have to use with every meal and in industrical quantites. Jeez, that's not whey p.
Some of these would only really be effective in supplemental doses ala a couple hundred mg. Panax Ginseng in particular I'm interested in. Capsaicin you wouldn't need to consume much at all to reap anti-inflammatory benefits, it's p. powerful shit. But I roll my chicken breasts in cayenne pepper and salt before grilling them because it fucking owns.
