One of my favorite films of all time. The film focuses on the Nazi German occupation of the Belarusian SSR, in 1943. You witness the events through the eyes of a young Belarusian boy who experiences the most brutal and blunt side of war, screaming to escape. The film was directed by Elem Kilmov in soviet Russia. It was produced by the studio ‘Mosfilm’. A studio responsible for many Russian masterpieces such as some of Andrei Tarkovsky’s work. Here's part one, but you should really buy it. Better on your Tv. Not so sure if you should watch it now, i think maybe it was the build up to this scene that made it so amazing.
