Ok since about a year, i started to remember things from my youth very clearly, like for instance: at the day of my third birthday i clearly remember eating a piece of birthday cake then throwing it in the ground. My dad picked it up an said how he had to get cleaning stuff to get it out of the carpet. It seems that i only started to remember things very clearly about a year ago. Doea anyone know if this is some kind of sympton or disease or something? Oh and you can ask me about any year of my life and i will probably remember it!
You're growing up son
why the fuck did you throw cake on the ground? you bastard.
Oh cool you have memory, nice to know. (Not really)
You're growing up son
No it's not that. Ofcourse everyone has memory of their youth, but i can remember almost anything, even things from year 2
What did you do on the 56th day of your 8th lifeyear?
you gonna die
I remember one time I read a really pointless thread on Facepunch.
No it's not that. I remember Year 1, Year 3, Year 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 in some detail or atleast have A memory from each year. Year 2 is a blank. 1998. 5 years old. What the hell happened to me?
What did you do on the 56th day of your 8th lifeyear?
Uhm let's see, i started the day at school. We had math and dutch language. At our break we played soccer and after school i had swimminglessons to get my A diploma
i don't find this very amazing
So then what did you do on the 235th day of your life?
So then what did you do on the 235th day of your life?
I spend the day with my mom in the park. When at home, we used a door as small ramp to drive of off with my little kart
I spend the day with my mom in the park. When at home, we used a door as small ramp to drive of off with my little kart
You're talking shit
I really only remember serious events. Like when I got sent to the school office for 3 days for calling my teacher a bitch because she ripped up my drawing. I was drawing it for about a week and kept it in my desk draw until she came along. [editline]09:12PM[/editline] It didn't really bother me too much. The teachers pretty much picked on me and anything that would happen in the classroom I would get sent to the office for. Even if I didn't do it. 6 years of bullshit.
Soccer in February? Oh ok.
Mind you, this is Holland. Our winters are not like yours. Besides, we played soccer almost everyday
The cake is a lie, you where brainwashed so you think you remember.
Throwing cake on the carpet. You call that a good memory? Pff.
I still have flashbacks from when I was one, or younger, no biggie. Sometimes you remember parts of your childhood vividly. They're not even interesting; stuff like me sitting in a pram with the rain cover on it whilst it was raining, and jumping down my stairs. Perhaps your brain retains them so you have some conscious memory of self from when you were a baby. [editline]10:50AM[/editline]
Uhm let's see, i started the day at school. We had math and dutch language. At our break we played soccer and after school i had swimminglessons to get my A diploma
This is pretty normal recollection of memory. It's not that you remember what you did every day of school; it's that you subconsciously: 1) Work out how old you were that year, and that from the day of the year, it was probably winter 2) Recall what school you went to that year 3) Recall your daily routine, based on your current routine and what you would've done different when you were younger 4) Remember a few key facts (you played soccer every day, you were getting an A diploma in swimming) 5) Build up a mental image of the entire day based on memories recreated from these key ideas. It's not so much remembering everything vividly for your entire life, you're just good at reconstructing memories.
i cant remember anything from 2 seconds ago
You must have a very boring and unsatisfying life.
You're talking shit
Why would i be talking shit? What personal gain do i have by making this up?
I remember experiences from when I was 4. Mostly traumatic experiences though.:smithicide:
Humm... You remember your childhood, But do you remember your maths? I once remembered my childhood when i was doing maths... The teacher caught me and thought i was daydreaming and he made me do π
No i don't know exactly what it was about. I do remember having some very traumatic experience when i was 3 years old, but i guess my memory supressed that...
Congratulations. I remember rolling down a hill and hitting my head on a rock when I was two. I also got a tick in my neck the same day.
I remember shit stuff. Like, I remember with I was around two we were in the car and we passed a laundry-mat.
I mainly remember the fights I was in
Yea! Bad memories stays forever in my head. I still remember embarrassing things when I was very very young like 3-6
