I think we here at Facepunch know what Vegemite and Marmite are.
I'm American and what is this

Vegemite The Vegemite Website This traditional Aussie spread has been made into a National Icon of Australia. Having been made in Australia since 1923, you can probably find it just about anywhere in Australia. You can typically associate Vegemite with well, Australia. Although the ingredients for Marmite have been around since 1680, it was not until 1902 the Marmite Food Company was set up and Marmite was sold all over the United Kingdom. You can typically associate Marmite with, Paddington Bear! :3: "Marmite Paddington Commercial"
They are both considered Love it or Hate it foods. The reason is, because, well, you either love them, or hate them. Now, the question is, who here likes this stuff? If you do, then how do you eat it? I personally love Vegemite spread lightly on buttered toast. How about you? (User was banned for this post ("post yours go in fast threads" - garry))
I have no idea what Marmite is. Vegemite is good though.
I'm half Australian, so I can only stand half the amount. Australians love making Americans eat Vegemite.
I'm American, and I fucking love Vegemite. I wasn't stupid though, I didn't smother it all over my bread.

I'm American, and I never tried Vegemite or Marmite, it is not that they are not sold in stores. It is just that $8 for a 400ml jar is a bullshit price for me, I could get a pound of raw honey for a lot cheaper. Edit: Have you noticed that the guy holding the jar of Marmite looks a lot like Male_07?
I like it in small amounts, I find it amazing how some kids can eat this stuff by the spoonful
Only in small amounts.

[editline]12:28AM[/editline] Also the lad in the Marmite picture, I lol'd
Love Vegimite, hate Marmite. I had Vegimite toast this morning, it's good. You don't put on heaps, put on a thin layer on the toast (as well as butter). Don't stack it on like Nutella! It's fucking salty when you do that. An interesting fact: Vegimite is made out of the left-overs of beer.
I've sampled it a long time ago and I think I didn't like it. Maybe I should try it again and see if my tastes have changed at all.
I've never heard of any of this, ever. And making Paddington bear eat marmite is a disgrace, Paddington can only be Paddington with marmalade.
So what Paddington isn't allowed to be a curious little bear anymore? [editline]03:37PM[/editline] But I do see where you're coming from.
Go away, both rilllleeez the faggot and shogunner the dirty american
I'm a dirty american, but I've eaten Vegemite once. In the third grade, I knew this Australian kid and he brought some in to our class. Shit was weird.

Vegemite is awesome, Marmite is slightly crappier. They're releasing a new Vegemite spread you know, looks pretty terrible.
