Looks better than Jobs but that's barely saying anything If you want to watch something about Steve Jobs/Bill Gates watch Pirates of Silicon Valley
Even if he doesn't look as much like steve as asston cuntcher did he really sounds a lot more similar when talking
Looks better than Jobs but that's barely saying anything If you want to watch something about Steve Jobs/Bill Gates watch Pirates of Silicon Valley
a fiction movie [editline]2nd July 2015[/editline] this is way more promising than Jobs
Gonna go ahead and miss this one.
i hate this movie on principle. it has nothing to do with mac vs pc or any of that, it's the fact that it's a narcissistic puff piece for a person who's contributions to the worlds are nowhere near unambiguously positive and are obviously going to go totally unexamined in this movie

I hope it paints him more like the megalomaniac some say he was
Pirates of Silicon Valley was literally the perfect way to describe Steve Jobs in a film format. Although this does look well acted and made at least, better than the last attempt

It literally opens with Woz telling him to fuck off and goes on to show him being a dick to several people at various times
I don't really care for the premise but the people working on this pretty much assure this'll be an interesting watch. Plus the trailer is extremely well put together, at least watch that.
It's nice to see that it at least shows he was a cunt at times aswell as a so called "genius" i hate it when biopics practically make someone more than they actually are, leaving out all the negative aspects of they're life.
Did you even watch the trailer? Why do people try so hard to hate Steve Jobs? You can disagree with his tactics and personal life, but he still influenced the information age greatly and pretty much allowed Pixar to become Pixar. [editline]1st July 2015[/editline] Also Michael Fassbender is my man
I'll watch it because it seems to be taking an interesting direction by focusing more on how he affected the people he worked with.
Ashton Kutcher looked way more like Steve Jobs
Kate Winslet? Oh, now I know we're getting a topless scene.

[editline]1st July 2015[/editline] Also Michael Fassbender is my man
He definitely had more tenacity and drive than probably anyone else in the industry I'll give him that, but I feel like a large part of his success was just knowing the right people and being in the right place at the right time. If he hadn't had become a pivotal figure in home computing, I'm sure someone else would have taken his place and achieved just as much without being such a ruthless dick about it. For all the big players in computing there's plenty of genuinely brilliant people who got screwed over by cunning assholery or just sheer dumb luck and faded into obscurity. I definitely am thankful for Pixar though!
Ashton Kutcher looked way more like Steve Jobs
Yeah but the movie was garbage and pictured him like the second coming of Christ on more than one occasion. [editline]2nd July 2015[/editline] Hope this movie actually follows up on the expectation set by the trailer and pictures Jobs as the egotistical asswipe he was.
They should have cast Ashton again. Fuck it, if the material is as good as I hear, recasting him would be totally justified.
What the hell did Steve Jobs do for the world to warrant two biographical movies in two years?
Michael Fassbender's weird accent takes me out of it.
Yeah, why is this the second movie about Steve Jobs in as many years? There are so many much more interesting stories out there that could've been told.
What the hell did Steve Jobs do for the world to warrant two autobiographical movies in two years?
Be charismatic. edit: These movies are not autobiographical.
Yeah, why is this the second movie about Steve Jobs in as many years? There are so many much more interesting stories out there that could've been told.
Someone make a Steve Wozniak movie.
Yeah but the movie was garbage and pictured him like the second coming of Christ on more than one occasion.
It pictured him as an egocentrical asshole as well, though
what happens to the Jobs movie? wasn't it cancelled or something?
That last Steve Jobs movie was basically him being a dick for two hours. If this is anything different,I'd happily go see it.
The line about creating the universe is literally a line taken almost in full from the play 1776
Is drama centering around the child a big part of the movie? Because a simple DNA test could solve that in no time.

[editline]1st July 2015[/editline] Also Michael Fassbender is my man
Probably because they disagree with his tactics and personal life.
