I just don't understand why SOPA, as in STOP ONLINE PIRACY ACT, don't change it to exactly that? I mean, the bill would do so much more than just trying to stop piracy, which if stopped wouldn't violate any of our rights.

And the problem with it is that it's a bit on the vague side as to what constitutes piracy and then gives ridiculous power to the owners of stuff to shut down websites they feel are violating their copyrights or whatever with worrying ease. A surprising number of people have managed to totally misunderstand what the problem is with the acts. On one hand it's good to have more support, but then it makes you no better than something like the Tea Party if your supporters don't have any real idea about what the hell it is they're supporting or why.
Not that E3 is worth following anyway, I remember how last year both Sony and Microsoft kept going on about their gimmicky motion controllers.
phuck yes
There's a big problem with this though: Other groups which support SOPA, such as IGN, will be covering E3, and if they're the only ones covering E3, then they'll see improved profits from more people having to use their E3 coverage. So, in the long run, you might be reducing support for the ESA, but support for SOPA in general will remain the same.
if only IGN would go they are going to be poor and IGN will have it's usual viewers.

Anyway the name of the bill is "STOP ONLINE PIRACY ACT" yet it attempts to do so much more than that, which is the reason why I would oppose it.

Fox News, and it's owners support SOPA Therefore IGN also supports SOPA.

Seriously. I couldn't stop laughing. I dont give a fuck about the game coverage, it just funny to watch. Same with the Spike VGA's, and watching celebrities try to act like gamers.
Post the Ubisoft presentation. It was like they had a nerd/comedian that was bad at both come up and overcompensate while having a massive high.

man don't remind me of the gimmicky filled shithole that was E3 2011
E3 2011 was incredibly entertaining, what are you talking about. It was hilariously bad.
That's what I said. It was the stupidest and most hilarious E3 to date. I loved watching it.
Mr. Caffeine? "tom calancy's poop on your toothpaste!"
and this is why we should boycott E3 until the end of time itself
lol pipa means blowjob in greek.
lol pipa means blowjob in greek.
Sopa=Portuguese for Soup,Swedish for Loser Pipa=Blowjob for greek? Wow the people who made this sure likes corrupting the children :v:
and this is why we should boycott E3 until the end of time itself
Why? I have watched E3 for the last couple years and plan on watching it again. Only thing that made last years bad was microsofts KINECT KINECT KINECT and sony showed some actual games but a lot of it was VITA VITA VITA. But if they don't dedicate their time to their motion controls or portables then the games showing are fantastic.
Am I the only one who thought that Garaham Stark fellow sounded like he was using text to voice software?
Can't remember the last time I gave a shit about E3. So I won't miss not watching any coverage.
Can't remember the last time I gave a shit about E3. So I won't miss not watching any coverage.
ep3
