It's got features like universal sprint, but still looks a bit...heavier? Not sure how I'll feel about that until I try it.

I wont lie, I'm a huge Halo purest and I HATED Halo 4.
However, Halo 5 seems to have improved a lot and it's actually a LOT of fun, at least what I saw from the Beta(Alpha?) last December.

Yeah, wasn't a big fan of Promethean stuff tbh. Has there been any vids of outdoor areas yet?
I'm not really a fan of how fast pace it has become, I always felt the slower nature of the previous installments made everything less certain and added more depth instead of a point and kill game like CoD
I did enjoy the beta regardless

it doesn't change a thing. Like they said in the video, the speed up doesn't make the game any different, you just need to be more aware. you're still all evenly matched.
If you seriously think comparing this gameplay to CoD is valid you probably watched the wrong video
Anybody who thinks having more mobility/ADS makes this just CoD/BF clone really hasn't played CoD anytime soon. Look at how CoD plays compared to the above video. It is night and day. The new CoD is even more extreme with all the trick shots, crazy movement options, etc. Halo 5 is going to seem insanely slow compared to Black Ops 3 coming out this year.
