It's not going to happen.
They could barely get MCC working on Xbox One (and it still barely does) I doubt they can or want to get it working on PC.
'for real this time' major nelson responding to a tweet from boogie. hardly 'for real' yet
Sounds more like "yes, we know guys, shut the fuck up" than "yes, its happening."
It's not going to happen.
The only way I can see it happening is if they port it over to PC a year after it gets released on the xbone, just so people still have a reason to buy an xbone and so they can add give it the features PC gamers are used to so they can say they care about windows 10. MCC as a W10 exclusive would make a lot of people upgrade Actually, if Microsoft wants to regain some of the market share they lost to apple, they should embrace PC gaming. Macs are getting more and more games each month but it's never going to be on the same level as windows.
We don't want it
Wow. That wasn't a yes. That is him saying he received the message [editline]17th June 2015[/editline]
We don't want it
I do.
It's not going to happen.
Look at it this way.....ever since those modders grabbed the Halo Online source files, those modders have been essentially making Halo 3 for PC... If I had to bet, Microsoft will go and start porting the games over since they'll just be losing out on the PC market big time at this point... In simple words: If they went ahead and sold a PC version now, they'd be better off than selling it 2-3 years later when the mods (ex: Halo Online mod) have saturated the potential market.
I do.
Fuck yeah me too
all aboard the hype train lads! https://twitter.com/majornelson/status/610997210260488192?s=09
How can someone seriously believe they "receive" any message after Phill Spencer on PC Gaming E3? That was pathethic, they didn't even prepare a decent presentation, they were like "Well, since I'm here, I might as well say something". And the host was GREAT putting him on the spot, because he was just spewing shit about Windows 10 and Xbox Live APIs. They didn't have any games ready to show and they clearly don't care about the PC market unless Windows 10 is involved.

Master chief collection and future halo games is arguably the biggest selling point of the xbone. It's not coming to PC, and if it does it'll be in a couple years.
We don't want it
uh speak for yourself thanks in advance
We don't want it
*you dont want it*

It's literally not gonna happen for at least another 2 years. Quote me on it, I will eat a shoe first.
I think a PC release would make a lot of sense, but for the late 2016 release. Look at Gta V, they sold the "same" game three times just changing the platform and adding a bit of polish to it. In a year MCC will be an old story for Xbox gamers, but PC will still want it as much as they do now. They can earn extra money with a new release and push Windows 10 adoption further. Two flies with one stone, IMO.
We don't want it
Go fuck yourself I have never played Halo 3
"Message recieved, mark as spam."
The kinda "important" thing about this is that Boogie just tweeted it randomly on his own feed. He didn't tag anyone in it or ask someone in particular, to which Major Nelson replied when he could've ignored or completely missed it.
I mean fuck, I never would have believed the idea of GoW returning to PC, so who knows maybe there is hope someday.
They're getting Gears on PC. They're probably testing the waters to see if it does well.
if you believe this confirms it, you're a jackass he's some xbox representitive that has 0 anything to do with the actual publication of any games and literally all he does is say something equal to "Yeah I heard you", or, a head nod, and you act as if it's CONFIRMED Where did he say "Yes, I'm an actual dev/publisher working on it, it's coming out"
I don't think an acknowledgement of a tweet really means "Yes, it's happening, this is confirmation that MCC is coming to PC"
Well to be fair, they are bring Gears to PC sooooo it has a 1% possibility
They're getting Gears on PC. They're probably testing the waters to see if it does well.
gears 1 was already on pc, it's nothing more than a rerelease with new textures and maybe optimization/fluff
gears 1 was already on pc, it's nothing more than a rerelease with new textures and maybe optimization/fluff
The GoW 1 PC port was poorly made and with GFWL. GoW Ultimate is a remastering with new content and graphical upgrades and being released for both X1 and PC. I feel its a lot more meaningful than just "a pc re-release with fluff". We are also getting Killer Instinct, which to my knowledge as a Xbone big deal exclusive.
This is not news in any way, shape or form.
how would gears of war 1 being re-released for PC give microsoft the ability to gauge for Halo those are two completely different fanbases lol
