The man accused of opening firing inside a historic black church in Charleston, South Carolina, tried to kill himself but had run out of bullets following the shooting, according to the son of a victim who said he spoke with a survivor. "He put the gun to his head and pulled the trigger but there was just no bullets left," said Singleton. "I'm assuming he wanted to take his own life." -Victim's Son Roof was apprehended in Shelby, North Carolina, about 250 miles away from the church. He has been charged with nine counts of murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime. This might sound a little sadist but i would've hoped that he shot himself in the head causing massive pain and survive.
This sounds like garbage if I ever heard it. With the kind of pistol he had, it has a slide catch. When the pistol runs out of ammo, the slide catch will stop the slide from moving forward, indicating that the magazine is empty (and typically the chamber is also empty) If he was out he would have known Survivors of stressful and traumatic experiences like this often misremember or outright unintentionally fabricate events though Also glocks are striker fired single action only pistols. He wouldn't have been able to pull the trigger
nah it sounds really sadistic
In any case, that little shithead should not get a easy way out of his situation.

No doubt he'll try to kill himself in prison.
I love it when these pathetic selfish murdering cunts fail to kill themselves and have to live with their actions, I hope the screams of every person he killed sends him spiraling into madness.

64% of South Carolina's prison population is black (but blacks only account for 27% of the states population ), dude will wish he killed himself if he ends up in the general population. Although he'll probably end up on death row in solitary for the next 20-30 years before they nix him.
Charelston terrorist*
hm. This makes me hope someone can interview with him soon. I'm curious as to what he's thinking right now.
hm. This makes me hope someone can interview with him soon. I'm curious as to what he's thinking right now.
Who cares what he's thinking. Focus on the victims, not the piece of shit who did it.

Interviewing him is wayyyy too far. He's a murderer, not a celebrity.

Not immediately after the event, but maybe 10 years down the road after emotions have cooled. If we actually want to address these kinds of people, then we need to understand how they think.
Who cares what he's thinking. Focus on the victims, not the piece of shit who did it.
I never said not to focus on the victims. It's still important to know what this kid's motives and thoughts are on this shit he did so we can have a better understanding of people like him.

Personally, I don't give a fuck what he has to say. The only thing I do know is more effort needs to be put into mental health in the US instead of posting the killer's pics all over the place. Putting him on 60 Minutes won't solve shit and will just pour salt in the wound.

A psychiatric interview, it's called.
