Welp, one more thing to add to the bucket list of things that I must do if I visit the Southeast. They also put out a video explaining the modifications of their weapons.
It looks like they do pick up all of the shells after hunting so that's good. Curious to see if there's any environmental issues with firing a gun like that underwater.

I'm still waiting to see if they would do the same thing for Asian Carp. Those bastards would go mental and probably try to swarm you like the infected in Left 4 Dead if you shot one.
That's what the suppressor is for.
Yeah, I see the suppressor but sound travels much farther through water than it does through air so I was just wondering if even with a suppressor if there would still be adverse effects. Probably not though.

You'd have to have a full scale army firing all their assault rifles down there to do any damage.
Another thing scientists have been doing to stop lionfish is by feeding sharks pieces of lion fish without the barbs. They get used to the taste, start to like it, and then start eating lionfish. The poison the barbs produce doesn't kill the sharks so it's all good. http://www.caribbean360.com/news/sharks-taught-to-eat-poisonous-lionfish-on-cuban-reefs
