Indonesian school expells a raped student in front of everyone. Says she "tarnished" the institution - Polidicks

It saddens me that I live in such a prosperous country and if I flew an hour northwards I'd be in a poverty-stricken shithole that's in such a state where civil wars are considered normal. I thought Indonesia was just poor but it turns out they are socially broken as well.

I don't even fucking get the logic. Usually when absolutely moronic decisions are made, I can at least understand to some degree the reasoning behind it. But this? What in the FUCK could make this her fault and her "tarnishing the school's reputation"?

It really isn't that different and still happens in the western world, which is disgusting and stupid.

This happens in western schools too, it's just the context doesn't seem so bad. I mean in the US girls get kicked out for getting pregnant or forced out because of humiliation.

I remember at least 3 pregnant chicks in my high school and I went to 4 different schools. No one really cared, my schools was pretty open and tolerant, maybe i just got lucky with fairly decent public schools.

Been to four schools in my life, witnessed people getting bullied for everything from being short to being pregnant.

Nobody seemed to bully them, in fact most of them seemed more popular due to it. [editline]edit[/editline] Actually that is a bit of an exaggeration it was probably only around 12 or 13 pregnant senior year, but we did have a huge amount of teen moms.
