I would like feedback, positive, negative, it was cool, it sucked, you liked the shots, you thought it blew dick, I just want feedback.
Thanks.
Production-wise, there's a few areas to improve. The audio balance was off in some shots (the quiet one at the beginning, straight into a loud one. you could have turned the volume down on the loud one. There are also a couple shots that are out of focus, most notably the one were John says "And an even better day to fish." Rewatch clips on-site, so you can reshoot them if the focus is off.
Color correct your footage when you're trying to assign a "time" and "place" to a group of shots.
Focus is out on some areas.
Audio balance is gnarly.

As far as color correct, do you mean go through in post, and make sure the colors in each shot stay continuous?
I like john..John is cool.

Yeah! You don't need to do any fancy tone adjustment or signature color schemes but keeping a consistent contrast and saturation, as well as color balance, would be beneficial.

Ok, thank you, I never really thought to adjust colors in post, I just tried to stay in equal sunlight for each angle. I gotta play around with Vegas and see what I can do with colors.
The video could have been half it's length. Nearly every shot went on for too long. Especially when doing comedy, it's important to keep it quick so nobody gets bored.

Ok, thanks for the input. I try to keep videos around the 60 second mark
I know it's been said, but the audio is really off balance. sometimes the quality is good, sometimes it feels like the mic is too far away from the speaker, it goes from loud to soft and vice versa, and when shots would change the background noise/ambience would also notably change.

Oh, and also, try and keep the video consistent, and the actors serious. I didn't know it was gonna be a comedy video, I honestly thought it was a music video cause of the title and snapshots in the intro. I didn't get any comedic jibes until I saw the fisher assembling the rod smiling as he was doing it, which isn't a great first sign of the video actually being a comedy sketch. Unless of course you meant to make it serious in the beginning and then joke ending, which is cool too.
And yeah, cut down on some shots. Him assembling the fishing rod wasn't necessary and I'm sure no one would've cared if he just pulled out an assembled one.
Thanks
