I'm pretty proud of it for some reason so I'm showing you fuckers so you can tear it apart before I go to critique tomorrow. Hey, that's pretty clever. Looks like a jet engine. Bet it looks cool in the dark. attatch a small motor to it and make it spin 'round so it's like a real jet engine :science:
Ghetto lampshade
Looks good. Paint it some badass colours.
Edges could need some work too, they look jagged.
Paint it amber.
You should go with a metallic or shiny paint for extra badass-ness.
Picture with light on please. Looks awesome. Maybe make one with some form of coloured & transparent plastic?
that shit is awesome, color that shit
Very nice, how does it look when you turn it on?
Pic with light turned on please, this looks awesome!
Awesome!
We need a picture with it on and every other light source off.
only issue I can see with this concept is that the light bulb has a direct path to your eyes, might be a little harsh on the viewer. otherwise, awesome design, I want one, hehe.
Indeed with the above
only issue I can see with this concept is that the light bulb has a direct path to your eyes, might be a little harsh on the viewer. otherwise, awesome design, I want one, hehe.
This could be fixed if he covered the entire inside part with something that can dull the light.

I don't have it right now, but when my teacher is done grading it I'll take another picture.
tilting the 'blades' at an angle would help to fix the problem, but I don't want ya bending it up and having it fall apart or something. Or, lowering the height of the shade so that the bulb is housed more in the angular area

I'll just built an inner shield to diffuse the light, when I get it back.
Perhaps create a spacing ring at the top? The spacing isn't consistent all the way around it and that's irking me.
