President Donald Trump has told senior congressional leadership that he wants to name the forthcoming tax reform bill the “The Cut Cut Cut Act,” a senior administration official tells ABC News.
Less than 24 hours before the bill is slated to be revealed, the name of the bill has still not been settled and there is still dispute over the name, according to a senior congressional aide and a senior White House official. The sources said it’s been decided that the Ways and Means Committee will have the final say over the name.
Truly, Trump has a way with words.
Honestly, it doesn't even roll off the tongue that well. It's memorable, but not catchy. C-, see me after class.
I imagine in order to pronounce it properly you have to slam your fists on the table with each "cut" and then cross your arms like a spoiled brat
The name of the bill sounds like something from an Onion article.
Sounds like a name by a five year old with brain damage, which is appropriate.
the ting goes...
seems like he's still adhering to his rule of repeating something three times
"Triple Tax Cut" was that so hard. Whoever's doing your branding is failing you Trump. I guess that means you're the one coming up with the branding, huh.
The name of the next act will just be him screaming at the top of his lungs for 10 seconds followed by him giving a thumbs up to every KKK member individually

Triple is two syllables though.
The 'Get Rid of Stupid Doodoo Taxes >:( Act'
Honestly would have expected the Trump Act
welcome to the C3 Act
Must have wanted his own version of the kool kids klub.
Honestly would have expected the Trump Act
No that will be the act when he attempts to remove impeachment charges against himself so he can remain in power.
imo a better name would be "The Cut Cut Cut (unless you are in the middle class in which case go fuck yourself idiot lmao) Act".
Might be hard to come up with a catchy acronym for it tho.
Surprised he didn't try to call it "The Tax Cutty McCutface Act" to appeal to his meme-base.

CCCuyaitMCiwcgfyimao?
i was waiting for a mandatory circumcision act like this for my whole life
All I can think of is an old Space Ghost Coast to Coast skit where he wanders back and forth across the set repeating "cut cut cut cut cut."
Maybe focus on the the contents instead of the shit name?
this is supposed to be tax reform, which is distinctly different from tax cuts lmbo
TRUMP!
"the man says what he thinks!"
"the man says what he thinks!"
And it's clealy not very much :v:
so this is the cut that cuts the cut cuts that cuts the cut?

Just rolls off the tongue.
While unconfirmed, there are rumors that this tax reform bill hides a repeal of the individual mandate of the ACA, which would effectively kill it. Many GOP senators have referenced the possibility on Twitter already, tweeting things like, "no individual mandate = greater tax cuts possible!" (paraphrasing)

If they remove a source of government revenue by ending the individual mandate, it will then allow them to compensate by removing even more government revenue by cutting taxes?? I'm baffled
This is like the scene in Arrested Development where the banana stand employees take free bananas and compensate for it by throwing one banana in the trash for every one they eat.
Tax plan reportedly repeals the measure preventing churches from donating to political campaigns, which will allow tax exempt religious institutions to funnel money to GOP candidates without sacrificing their tax exempt status.
So does this mean Trump is actually Cutman in disguise?

They're both incompetent but more importantly, they're both orange. It makes way too much sense!
