Not sure if it's a new game or movie, but whatever it is; it looks awesome. My bet is on a new game, since E3 is right around the corner.

Also it should be noted that if it is a movie reboot; there were rumors awhile back that Scorpion would be the main character, leading us to believe this is a new movie. While I'm sure fans will LOVE it if this was a movie: I'm equally sure it will be panned by critics (no surprise there).
However, I remember Ed Boon also stating that he wanted to reboot the game series as well (this was before Mortal Kombat vs DC), and wanted to wipe out most of the original cast; but specifically mentioned Scorpion and Sub-Zero remaining. If this is a game reboot; it certainly seems like Scorpion and Sub-Zero are taking center stage, but it looks like they decided to reinvent the old cast rather then erase them entirely. It would also be be a return to the good old ultaviolence that was missing from Mortal Kombat vs DC.

Also why does Subzero look more evil than Scorpion. Isn't Suby supposed to be a neutral or good guy, and Scorpion was like the pit of hell evil, and they were nemesis' in the MK series?

In the game storyline Sub-Zero helped raid Scorpion's village and kill his men and family. Sub-zero kills Scorpion also, who comes back from hell as a skeleton reincarnate. Scorpion kills him. However Scorpion finds out that he is still alive. It's later revealed that Quan Chi did it, and Scorpion finds out the new Sub-Zero is actually an older brother.
No idea how they're going to go with it in the movie though.

theNoss, it has been proven time and time again that direct video game adaptions to movies are just terrible. These changes are exactly what makes it possible for a movie that stems from a game to be good.
