(Mod Note, I consulted JohnnyMo1 about making this account and this thread and have gotten the ok from him, please check with him before taking any moderator actions) Hello, my name is Kevin, I work for a company called Avatar Games Recruitment, A leading Recruitment company int he Videogames industry, recruiting people for (currently) 27 big name developers and publishers, filling well over a hundred various roles within those companies. I have come here, today, looking for skilled artists (as a long time member of Facepunch, I know we have quite a few) who are wanting to/would like to work in the games industry, as stated in the title, some of these positions require no game developer experience at all, we're looking for pure talent. If any of you can answer yes to all these questions: Would you like to work in the Games Industry? Are you over 18? Do you have a current CV/Resume and Portfolio? Are you willing and able to (most likely) move, to what could be anywhere in the world? (Although, we will try to put you forward for positions that are close to your current position) Then please, send me an email at Kevin@avatar-games.co.uk with the Following: Why you would like to work in the industry, your location, your age, any links to portfolios that you have and your CV/Resume (Although, if that is present on the site of your portfolio, that will be accepted) and any experience that you think would be relevant. If you have any questions, feel free to post them in this thread, I will answer them as rapidly as I can. Thank You. http://avatar-games.co.uk A few minor notes: 1. Serious offers only, please. 2. We cannot guarantee that you will get to work with a company, we can only put you forward to them after sorting you through, but if you do not get aposition that you apply for, you will be kept on file for future reference and will be contacted as vacancies come up, and finally, Yes, I am a longtime member of Facepunch, I am, however, for the sakes of professionalism, choosing to keep myself anonymous, as my posts, opinions nor beliefs in any way represent Avatar Games. Whether, with my real username, I like or dislike you, is irrelevant and I will treat everyone equally, whether I like, dislike or am neutral about them. To this end, I ask that if you know my real username, please keep it private. Thank you.
