Say that the Multiverse Theory is correct, and someone (Best. Scientist. Ever.) invents a machine that allows you to travel to any point in space and time, in any universe. But once you're there, you can't return, and you can't visit any other reality.
Infinite universes means infinite possibilities, so every fictional reality depicted in every book, movie, or videogame would exist.
Where, and when, would you go?
:science:
I'd go to the place made out of boobs.
I'd stay put and stay with everyone I know and love.
What? I'd go to the half life universe obviously. Wait... i'd just die really quickly.. Unless you could open console... always wanted to use noclip irl :smug:

Well, I guess it's possible to find a universe where an avalanche of naked women appears out of the quantum vacuum...
If you travel to another universe, it's not a different universe. That's pretty much the whole point of it.
You're stuck in this universe, man. No way out, except death.
I'd go to a place where there was a device that would let me teleport anywhere I want AND come back.
I'm a furfag. Where the fuck d'you think I'd go?
Just kidding. More likely the Mass Effect universe.
I would go to the warcraft universe.
Off the top of my head, I think living a life in the Dragonball Z universe would be pretty fuckin rad.

The Universe of the Internet?
Actually, that's not how the multiverse theory works at all. It doesn't say that every reality that could exist, does exist. It just says there's an infinite possibility of infinite realities, and that most of them would be beyond human comprehension due to very different physical laws and properties.

how can you say "most of them" when dealing with infinite?
by that logic, "most of them" are composed primarily of chocolate and "most of them" have only one occupant in them: kevin bacon
There's no point using an all access pass to space. what's the point of living if there's nothing to live for?
We need social interaction.
I'd choose to go to an already established colony i guess.
Mass effect?
Event Horizon.
[editline]05:19PM[/editline]
And if video games and films have told us anything it's not to dabble in that shit.
Aliens universe and be a colonist. Not sure why, it just seems like the sweetest thing ever, in a dystopian, dreary sort of way.
The Resistance universe. I've always wanted to be horribly eviscerated by hybrid human-alien and having my innards used as material for a 100-story-tall monster that destroys Chicago.
The machine would attract the attention of the Universal Union.
Good job, you brought about the Half-Life Universe without Gordon Freeman.
Or the irreversible ecological damage.
The exact same world like the one we are in now, just that people have all sorts of minor superpowers. It'd be interesting.

You could, in theory, teleport to a future Earth, grab a tachyon bomb (Or an equally destructive weapon), get into the future version of that machine, then go back to normal Earth and detonate it when the aliens or something arrive.
Or something.
I'd go to the Universe where I have the tools of Garrysmod.
I would be a pioneer and make my own town. I've wanted to do that ever since i played my first mmo.
That and after i knew two things about history.
Hey guys, I just built a cool ship called the
Event Horizon.

fffffffff
It didn't really look all that bad though. I mean, there was sex
I would transport into the same spot in a different universe but with another of those machines parked at my home and with one billion dollars in my bank account
I would go to this time last Tuesday. Why you ask? Well, we watched TV, and then I did the laundry. Oh, we won't see days like that again soon, now will we!
I'd go to a universe that contains the key to immortality. Then I would create a multi-universal empire.
The technology might already exist, My theory is that in the same way you can move around in the universe and time (Wormholes) might also be able to go outside the universe.
However, on topic (it seems):
I'd use it for SCIENCE!:science:
I'd go to the universe where I rule the world, and I'll assassinate myself and take my place.
