James Rolfe talks about his first time beating Contra. Without the code. Damn http://www.gametrailers.com/video/angry-video-screwattack/723402 This isn't actually a AVGN episode, but nice to watch nonetheless
Fuck yeah Contra
I remember the farthest I ever got was stage three. That was incredible enough for me.
That was a pretty good story, didn't know he was capable of being entertaining without his AVGN character.
I love listening to him, I hope he makes more of these.
That was pretty damn interesting. If only I was able to make it decently far in Contra. I was to side tracked by pc games and n64 to finish most of the nes and snes games I had.

Life Force is harder for me.
I remember having an NES when I was wee kid, living in a trailer in the fuckin' woods of Tennessee with my mom, half sister and her dad, and One morning at about 3 AM, I was awake and so was my half sister's dad, and as he walked by he asked if I wanted to play Contra. Asking a kid to play a game? Gee I wonder what he'll say We beat that shit, no code, in 2P mode. That must have been... 1991
He has awesome parents...
I never had a nes or an snes. Wish I got to play these games
Where did his beard go?
